Made in Canada! Yes, Labradorite was first discovered on St. Paul Island, Labrador, Canada in 1770. An Eskimo legend tells of a warrior who found the Northern Lights imprisoned in the rocks along the coast of Labrador. He was able to free most of the lights with one mighty blow of his spear, but some of the lights were still trapped in the rock. And so today we are left with beautiful stone, labradorite.
This stone has a beautiful shimmer or 'fire' when it catches the light. It is said to bring synchronicity and help recharge energy, while protecting from negativity.
